Here is a quote to motivate and bring a smile to your face. Parenting can be hard, tune into this blog and find out possitive ways to keep life interesting and calm!
It’s not only children who grow. Parents do, too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can’t tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it myself
So many emotions have stirred in me like a tornado. Anger, sadness, helplessness and more… but thank God the emotions resolved at hope. After reading and posting, petitioning, and praying God allowed me to see hope and I would love to share that HOPE with you.
All month I will be posting practical steps to find inner peace. I will share with you tools that you and I can use to make change in our community. Change starts in the heart and in the home. Let’s become better , stronger, more caring through this. Lets change our mentality from caring about one, to caring about all.
I was speaking to my mentor this week and she really gave me a burst of inspiration. She told me that we all have the ability to be great, we have to simply stop making excuses. There are a million reasons why we haven’t kept our commitments (even to ourselves), whether it’s a workout plan, passion project, or even setting time aside every day to pray. There will always be a reasonable excuse to let you out of the very thing that you want to do for you.
I want to encourage you to throw away at least one excuse… today. Choose one task that has sat on the shelf and make the decision to hold on to it today. Take ahold of it today and make the time to start it. Don’t try to figure out how its going to be completed, just make the decision to start!
YES… it Encourages a healthy lifestyle. Studies have shown that meditating increases your immunity and helps fight off diseases. Meditation causes you to relax, which increases a compound called nitric oxide that dilates your blood vessels and causes your blood pressure to drop. A lower blood pressure improves your cardiovascular and immune health, as well as helps you to have a better night’s rest!
As Father’s day approaches I want to urge everyone to get to know the best Father you could ever have which is God.Whether you had a horrible dad or an amazing dad, it’s important that we acknowledge our role in contributing to who your physical father is in your life. It is our responsibilities to pray over the men in our life. Men are so strong and sometimes we forget that these protectors, laborers, and fortifiers needs spiritual covering as well. As this holiday approaches, let’s not just look for a tangible gift to give the father figures in our life, but this holiday presents the opportunity to sew spiritually into the men that we Love through prayer. Below I am going to present scriptures that you can incorporate into your gift of prayer over the men in your life. Happy Father’s Day!
2 Peter 3:18, Proverbs 4:23- Concerning your loved ones relationship with God
Proverbs 15:33, Eph 6:6- That God will bless him
